This policy explains what information MatPath collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. MatPath helps parents compare college wrestling programs on cost and roster fit. We collect as little as possible.
Your account and sign-in. MatPath accounts are created and signed in through WorkOS, our sign-in provider, which processes this information on our behalf. You can continue with Google or receive a one-time email code. WorkOS receives your email address and, if you choose Google, the basic profile Google shares (name, email, profile picture); it sends sign-in codes and keeps your sign-in sessions. MatPath receives a WorkOS account identifier and your verified email address. MatPath does not receive or store a password, your Google password, or any Google access token.
Payment information. When you buy a MatPath Pass, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number. We receive a Stripe customer/transaction identifier and the email you provide, used to deliver your receipt and unlock your Pass.
Student-athlete academic inputs (GPA / test scores). If you use the academic-fit feature, the scores you enter are sent to our server only to compute your Reach / Match / Likely result for that request. They are never stored, logged, or retained, they exist only for the moment of that calculation, and are not sold or shared with third parties.
Basic usage analytics. We may collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data (e.g., page views) to operate and improve the site. This does not identify you and does not use tracking cookies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.
We use only strictly-necessary sign-in cookies, set when you sign in: mp_at (a short-lived signed sign-in token), mp_rt (an encrypted token that keeps you signed in) and, for up to 10 minutes while you are signing in, mp_flow (protects the sign-in from forgery). All are HttpOnly and Secure. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party cookies. Signing out removes them and ends the session on our server and with WorkOS; you can also clear them in your browser.
Your comparison stays in your browser. The schools and numbers you enter in a tool are kept in that browser tab only and are cleared when you sign out. Save to file downloads them to your own device; we do not receive or store that file.
To provide and support the MatPath Pass, deliver receipts, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Your entitlement record (Stripe identifier + Pass expiry) and the link between your WorkOS account and that Stripe identifier are retained for the applicable term so your Pass works. When you sign out, we keep a one-way fingerprint of that session (not the session itself) until it would have expired, so it cannot be reused. We do not retain the student-athlete academic inputs described above.
The information we keep is your email, your WorkOS account identifier, a Stripe transaction identifier, and your Pass status and expiry. You can ask us to correct or delete that information, including your sign-in account with WorkOS, by emailing info@envspromotions.com. Some payment records may be retained where required for accounting or legal reasons.
MatPath is intended for use by parents and guardians, not by children, and it is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian may choose to enter a prospective student-athlete's academic information (such as GPA or test scores); as described above, that information is used only to compute the result for that request and is never stored on our servers or shared. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
